Review: Itha Vegan Tinted Lip Balm in 'Infatuated'
A couple of months ago, I was gifted a lip balm by the organic lip care company, Itha. Up until now, Itha's lip balms have not been suitable for vegans as they have contained beeswax. However the brand has now launched a 100% vegan line that is beeswax-free, and made up of three gorgeous shades.
I have been lucky enough to trial the shade Infatuated* which is a lovely deep berry in the pot. Although the colour doesn't completely transfer, you can indeed see from the above picture that it leaves my lips looking super hydrated and with a perfectly just-bitten stain. This deep hydration is thanks to the lip balms lovely ingredients of: jojoba oil, cocoa butter, castor oil, and candelilla wax. These moisturising ingredients work together with natural pigments and natural aromas (derived from fruit), to create a high-quality, organic lip balm that is true value for money. Itha's vegan lip balms are only £8.50 for 6ml pot.
My only concerns with the product lie in the packaging (I've never been a fan of applying makeup with fingers), and the fact that the product doesn't always stick around for too long. I do find that I need to reapply throughout the day. Nevertheless, I really do suggest that you check out Itha's website as they have some really gorgeous colours for great prices - especially for an organic product.
