2015 Year in Review (best posts & best vegan beauty!)

Lo and behold, it's 2016. Prepare yourself for cliches - 2015 has indeed gone so fast. The past year saw me starting my second year of university (with my boyfriend in tow), jetting off to Germany for the second time, attending some really cool blogger events, and of course; discovering some really amazing green beauty gems. Today I'm rounding up the year with my top posts and my top vegan beauty finds.

So, to kick us off, here are my top ten favourite blog posts from this year for your perusing pleasure:

  1. Two Natural Brands to STOP Using
  2. Review: Red Apple Vegan Lipstick
  3. Orange Lips for Pale Chicks - Lippy Girl Review
  4. Spring/Summer Green Beauty Swap 2015
  5. Gorgeously Green Gathering 2015
  6. Intro to: Savon Stories
  7. Getting Organised: My Planner
  8. A Moment with Brija Cosmetics - Vegan Brand Spotlight (and all my other spotlights!)
  9. Harpers Bizarre Candles
  10. Vegan Beauty Beginners Christmas Gift Guide

Ahhhhh... 2015 has been such a fantastic year for green vegan beauty discoveries. I could harp on forever about my favourite products but unfortunately, I've had to shorten the list to a mere top ten. So without further ado (and in no particularly order) we have:

  1. Aspall Organic Cyder Vinegar (yes this counts as beauty... I use it for EVERYTHING.)
  2. Odylique Tea Tree & Herb and Gentle Herb Shampoos
  3. Andalou Naturals Turmeric + C Enlighten Serum
  4. MyRoo Starflower & Orange Blossom Skin Boost Serum*
  5. Red Apple Lipstick in 'Hibiskiss'*
  6. OliElla Multi Action Moisturiser (amazing for eczema)
  7. Alima Pure Satin Matte Foundation in Neutral 2 (my better alternative to Lily Lolo)
  8. BWC Super Cover Concealer in Fair (best. concealer. ever.)
  9. Pumpkin & Poppy 'Divinely Happy' Cream Shadow (for brows!)
  10. Eden Perfumes No. 72 (healthier version of Paco Rabanne Black XS? yes please.)

So that's 2015! I was also going to include my favourite books but frankly I read 144 books last year and that would be incredibly hard to narrow down...

How's your year been? And what have been your best beauty discoveries?
